I’ve been reading up about homemade fertilizers and came across a few people that use nori (dried seaweed used in sushi) as fertilizer.  How fun.

For powder fertilizer, just grind your nori up in a coffee grinder and mix into the dirt. For liquid fertilizer, soak a few sheets of ripped up nori in a 2L jug of water for a few days until the nori decomposes, then add a few splashes to your water before you water your plants.
