Discovery - A reptile enclosure can double as a greenhouse.  This is the mustard I planted four days ago!  

The days are getting longer, but just not long enough - I grabbed a light hub and a couple fluorescent bulbs the other day and set up some supplemental lighting.  Once the day is over, I put the trays under the light, throw on the ceiling fan, and try to trick the plants into thinking they’re outside.  

The light is set up on an adjustable keyboard stand at the lowest possible setting.  It’s a little makeshift, but I’ll use the tools at hand.
