I started some jumbo zinnias the other day for my Mom’s garden.  I thought it said to start these plants early, so that’s exactly what I did.  They pretty much sprouted right away and are already several centimeters tall.  Seemed a little odd, so I double checked the seed packet.  It does not say to start them early…it says that they sprout in 5-7 days. Not sure what happened there.
